As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all staff, patients, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. You will be a reassuring presence, ready to assist with inquiries and help address concerns as they arise. In this role, you will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support your duties and communicate with the team. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activities, security-related hazards, or emergencies encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and healthcare staff as needed.
• Assist with access control at entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely written reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
