As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a dynamic healthcare location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will interact with staff patients and visitors providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to support a welcoming atmosphere. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate healthcare and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist staff patients and visitors by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Support access control procedures and monitor entrances and exits to help maintain a secure environment within the healthcare location.
• Document all incidents and activities according to site-specific protocols and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
