As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disturbances.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals and/or coordinating with first responders.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to site procedures.
• Support a welcoming and orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff by maintaining a visible presence and addressing inquiries or concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
