Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Newtown Square, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the facility, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

DayTime Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
