What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behaviors, hazards, or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and other personnel at the location.
• Assist with access control measures, including verifying identification and controlling entry or exit points as directed by site policies.
• Complete detailed reports regarding patrol activities, incidents, or other security-related matters as required by Allied Universal and the client.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of six months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
