What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, noting any irregularities or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site procedures.
• Communicate with site staff and/or visitors in a professional manner to address questions, provide directions, or offer assistance.
• Work closely with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as needed to support security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
