Job Description

As a Security Officer Government Facility Patrol Driver in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual circumstances encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible presence.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols and procedures as directed by management.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
