As a front desk security professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a dynamic education or commercial real estate location. Your presence at the front desk will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.95/hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or tenants regarding security-related matters and provide directions or information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
