As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading Tech, Media, and Telecom location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Your role is to remain visible at the front desk, help to deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and visitor management. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with visitor management, including issuing badges and maintaining visitor logs as required by site policy.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate resources.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
