As a Front Desk Security Officer in a retail or mall location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing excellent customer service while remaining alert to potential security-related concerns. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verify identification of individuals entering and exiting, and assist with visitor management processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to answer questions, provide information, and direct individuals as needed.
• Assist with emergency response activities according to site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
