As a Security Professional - Front Desk Patrol in Deerfield, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at the location, greeting visitors and assisting employees while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to everyone entering the premises. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Day Time Mon 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Tue 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
• Assist with the management of deliveries and packages at the front desk.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions or concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Report any unusual activity or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
