Security Officer - Financial Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Driver in Riverwoods, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer serving a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Mon 04:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Tue 04:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the financial institution environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or customers with inquiries and provide information as requested.
• Follow all Allied Universal protocols and site-specific instructions while on duty.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
