As a Security Officer - Front Desk Financial in Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution setting, you will serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and employees. Your primary responsibilities involve maintaining a welcoming environment, verifying credentials, and assisting with entry procedures. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and exceptional customer service, all while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials for employees, visitors, and vendors as required.
• Assist with the registration and logging of guests and deliveries at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities at the location in accordance with established protocols.
• Document and report incidents, irregularities, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
