As a Security Professional - Education Desk Monitor in Radnor, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a dynamic education-focused location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, assisting visitors, and supporting security-related protocols to help to deter incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a welcoming and secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of visitors, students, staff, and/or vendors as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and/or students, addressing inquiries and providing directions or assistance as needed.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive presence and adherence to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
