As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a dynamic education-focused location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and students. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring access, managing badge and alarm panel systems, and providing outstanding customer service. Friday 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, students, staff, and faculty members at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and addressing inquiries as needed.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures, including those related to emergency response and incident reporting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with Allied Universal and/or client representatives as necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of visitor activity and security-related incidents as required by site protocols.
• Support a secure environment by assisting with visitor management and access control processes at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
