Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Site - Front Desk in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a front desk professional in a financial institution location, you will serve as the first point of contact for all guests and visitors, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attentive customer service. In this armed and driving role, you will leverage your training to maintain a secure environment, while providing clear communication and assistance to those entering the facility. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk within a financial institution setting.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and signing in guests, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities and any security-related incidents that occur at the front desk.
• Serve as a point of contact for individuals entering or exiting the location, providing information or assistance as needed while adhering to security-related procedures.
• Support Allied Universal's commitment to customer service and security-related protocols throughout all front desk operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Hold a valid armed guard card or armed guard license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
