Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Golden, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated food and beverage locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will interact with employees and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate armed response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to areas specific to the food and beverage industry.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other prohibited activities.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as necessary during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
