As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Bradenton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires both an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for driving and armed duties. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access within the government location.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Perform access control duties, including verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, alarms, or unusual situations as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a current and valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
