As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a secure atmosphere at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help discourage unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor access points and assist with the enforcement of site entry requirements to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of activities, incidents, and observations during patrols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
• Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions that may indicate a security-related issue and take appropriate action.
• Participate in site-specific training and ongoing professional development as required by Allied Universal and/or the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
