As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all individuals on site. Your presence and professionalism will help foster a welcoming atmosphere while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. This role requires you to be armed, and you will play a key part in upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first as you support the needs of the healthcare community.

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, following established procedures for healthcare environments.
• Maintain a high level of awareness regarding the unique needs and protocols of the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience or 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
