As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with established protocols for government facilities.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports to support site operations and client requirements.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as directed during incidents or emergencies at the location.
• Remain alert to potential security-related threats and report any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate authorities or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
