As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Site - Part Time in Louisville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help discourage unwanted activity, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our company's values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with an emphasis on locations related to food and beverage operations.
• Monitor for any suspicious activity or unauthorized persons and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Follow all company and client protocols regarding the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.
• Document all incidents, observations, and/or actions taken during the shift as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as directed during incidents or emergency situations.
• Participate in ongoing training and/or drills relevant to armed patrol and food and beverage environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
