As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Site - Part Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution setting, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. This position requires both armed responsibilities and driving duties. You will interact with employees and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication, while upholding our core values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Tue 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM

Wed 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM

Fri 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues within the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site procedures.
• Carry and responsibly handle authorized arms in accordance with site-specific requirements and Allied Universal policies.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or vendors with inquiries and directions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
