As a patrol armed officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a financial institution location. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $29.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Thur 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM

Fri 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as required during incidents or emergencies at the location.
• Perform access control duties, including verifying identification and authorizations for entry into restricted areas.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related threats or emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and appropriate use of force protocols as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
