As a Security Officer - Access Control Patrol in Temperanceville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at a food and beverage location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, including access control duties.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors to promote a secure environment within the food and beverage facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control systems and/or badge management is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
