What You'll Do:

• Control access to the premises by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures in a professional manner.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
• Report security-related incidents and/or irregularities according to site procedures and Allied Universal policies.
• Collaborate with site representatives and local authorities as required during emergency response activities.
• Maintain accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and/or other relevant events at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
