As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Assist with visitor and contractor management, following site-specific policies for the food and beverage environment.
• Provide customer service by addressing questions and concerns from employees, visitors, and/or vendors in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to maintain a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
