As a Security Guard - Retail Patrols in Sweetwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also provide outstanding customer service, offering assistance and clear communication to all individuals on site. This position is a driving post, requiring you to safely operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Interact professionally with the public, tenants, and staff, offering assistance and information as needed.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel if required during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert to surroundings and maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to those at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds; this is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
