As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a local government setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as you monitor different areas of the location. What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with maintaining order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the government location.
• Collaborate with local authorities and emergency responders as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to provide proof of completion.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
