As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a residential location, providing a welcoming presence and helping to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring access, assisting residents and visitors, and maintaining detailed records, all while delivering outstanding customer service. You will utilize computer or tablet systems as part of your daily responsibilities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the building by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing visitor passes as required by site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and building management to address inquiries and/or concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
