As a Patrol Officer at this leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a secure environment for all employees and visitors. This position involves driving responsibilities, as you will travel throughout the site to support Allied Universal's commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues, with consideration for the unique environment of a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Observe and report any irregularities, including presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences, following established protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and other personnel regarding security-related matters at the location.
• Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, including evacuations or hazardous material incidents in accordance with training and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
