As a Security Guard Armed Patrol in Denmark, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more.

As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that require your attention. As this is an armed post, you will be expected to carry and responsibly manage a firearm in accordance with all regulations and company policies. You will also provide exceptional customer service, assisting individuals as needed and demonstrating clear, professional communication at all times. Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor access points and screen individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized persons from entering restricted areas.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other personnel to address security-related concerns and provide assistance during emergencies or incidents.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings at all times, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
