As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations to help maintain a secure environment. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Monday 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

Friday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Saturday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats or unwanted behavior.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or the public as required by the location's needs.
• Follow all instructions and protocols related to carrying and handling firearms in accordance with company and location policies.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or activities during each shift.
• Assist law enforcement or emergency responders as needed during incidents at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
