As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, operating alarm panels, and assisting with badge access, all while providing outstanding customer service. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to support access control processes, and your presence will help foster a welcoming and secure atmosphere for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points for authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures while carrying out security-related duties.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor surveillance systems and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents to the designated contacts.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining clear communication with supervisors and first responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
