Second Shift Manufacturing Technician

Overview of the Position

Join our team as a Manufacturing Technician, where your primary role will be to set up, maintain, and calibrate vital production equipment. You will also conduct product testing and inspections, ensuring compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 standards.

Working Hours

This position operates from Tuesday to Saturday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance as directed by the supervisor.
• Adhere to all plant policies and procedures, including EHS rules, GMP guidelines, and ISO standards, while promoting a safe and environmentally friendly workplace.
• Complete documentation related to the manufacturing processes as per established guidelines.
• Maintain precise maintenance records and utilize tools such as micrometers and dial calipers for inspections.
• Utilize ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 sampling standards to determine required inspections and acceptable quality levels.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and performance inspections at various production stages.
• Report any anomalies to the supervisor and assist with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
• Employ basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Observe safety regulations and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Handle hazardous waste according to safety guidelines.
• Cross-train and provide support across departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Preferred education includes a High School Diploma or GED, with a certificate from a college or technical school in a related field.
• A minimum of 3-4 years in medical device manufacturing or equivalent experience is preferred.
