Who Are Our Seasonal Long Haul Drivers?

As an integral part of our operations, Seasonal Long Haul Drivers play a vital role in keeping our national team strong. Known as feeder drivers, they operate tractor trailers on established routes, delivering packages from one UPS location to another or directly to customers, and are back home by the end of their shift.

What Does It Take to Keep Packages Moving Smoothly?

• Be willing to work days, nights, and/or weekends
• Possess a valid Class A CDL license in your home state
  • Doubles/Triples endorsement may be required based on location
• Pass the DOT physical examination
• Demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and a passion for truck driving
• Have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Adhere to UPS appearance guidelines and wear the provided uniform

Note: This is a seasonal position. A seasonal job at UPS is an excellent entry point that could lead to a permanent role with even more benefits. Our full-time delivery drivers earn an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, which includes $0 healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, and paid time off for holidays, sick leave, and other options. UPS also contributes to a defined-benefit pension plan for each employee.
