Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and skilled School Nurses to provide high-quality care and support to students across Los Angeles County. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative educational environment.

Position Details

• Job Title: School Nurse
• Location: School districts throughout Los Angeles County
• Schedule: MondayFriday (school hours)
• Pay: Competitive hourly rate | Weekly pay
• Contract Type: Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care and health services to students in accordance with physician orders and school policies
• Monitor and manage student health concerns, medications, and emergencies
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
• May supervise other healthcare staff depending on assignment

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN, LPN, or LVN)
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in California
• One year of professional experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
