SAP Data Migration lead

JOB Description:

Minimum 12 to 15 yrs of Experience in Master Data Management & Migrations projects. Provide technical guidance/support to the team.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with onshore SAP Consultants on technical requirements and issue resolutions.
2. Manage Day-to-Day operations and assist Operations Manager in managing the team.
3. Manage communication with Gilead stakeholders, SAP Consultants, and Project Manager for status updates, ad-hoc requests, and escalation updates.
4. Maintain process specific tracker and generate reports.
5. Ensure overall team performance as per the agreed service levels.
6. Act as coordinator between L1 Leads and Offshore teams in day-to-day tasks.
7. Drive the entire data migration effort to migrate data from several legacy applications to new SAP implementation.
8. Plan, strategize, execute, and drive the entire Data Cutover Planning and strategy.
9. Formulate the Data Migration strategy for SAP MM, SAP PP, SAP QM, and SAP HANA.
10. Utilize SAP Data Services built-in functions to transform data, and create SAP Data Services Jobs scripts to automate data loads and variables with parameters.
11. Provide expert-level knowledge in creating Project Plans, Mapping documents, Data Load Plans, Mock Load Plans, SAP MDM, and Business Rules plans.
12. Oversee complete end-to-end Mocks and Loads for various domestic and international sites.
13. Conduct Pre-Load and Post Load data validation and create and distribute preload and post load reports related to legacy and SAP data.
