We are seeking a motivated and talented Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our innovative migraine research team! Under the mentorship of Dr. Chia-Chun Chiang and colleagues, the fellow will leverage novel artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to advance the understanding and clinical management of migraine and other headache disorders. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of AI and medicine, making a tangible impact in the field of headache research and care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct innovative AI-driven research to explore and address critical challenges in headache disorders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, data scientists, and researchers.
• Author high-impact publications, present findings at leading conferences, and contribute to grant proposals.

Qualifications:

• PhD or MD (or MD equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Prior research experience in machine learning and/or natural language processing.
• Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated passion for applying AI to transform healthcare outcomes.

A Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic is a temporary position intended to provide training and education in research. Individuals will train in the research program of a Mayo Clinic principal investigator. Qualified individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their training and peer-reviewed publications and should become competitive for national research grants. Proof of English proficiency is required for J-1 Short-Term Scholars, Research Scholars, Professors, Specialists, and Student Interns sponsored by Mayo Clinic.

Exemption Status: Exempt

Compensation Detail: $68,564.00- $80,210.00/ year. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
