Room Service Server

You have a passion for serving people and creating extraordinary experiences through genuine hospitality and superior service to our guests! The Room Server is responsible for assembling and delivering orders to the guest room.

As a Room Service Server, you will offer world class customer service in greeting and serving our guests food and/or beverage through Room Service delivery. Responsible for assembling and delivering orders to the guest room.

Position is Part Time. Shift is 6:15 a.m. 1:30 pm- SAT/SUN (may also include other days when coverage is needed. Opportunity to cross train in other F&B areas)

Essential Functions:

• Answer phone and greet guests with a smile and ascertain their dining needs
• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
• Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
• Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction
• Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
• Ensure Room Service is always well-stocked
• Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
• Perform other related duties as requested by Manager.

Marginal Functions:

• Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Help out in other areas of food and beverage as needed.
• Stocking shelves and reach-ins with product essential to department operation.
• Cleaning and organizing the work area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years full service restaurant experience.
• Good food and service knowledge.
• Pleasant personality.
• Excellent communication skills.
