This communitys appeal continues to grow as exciting new developments are underway near the AdventHealth Minneola campus.

AdventHealth Minneola's 80-bed hospital will bring inpatient care to the growing population of South Lake County. Spanning approximately 204,000 square feet, the hospital will include an emergency department; full-service imaging; five operating suites; endoscopy services; outpatient laboratory; heart catheterization labs; critical care and general medical/surgical rooms. The role you'll contribute: The Stroke Program Manager, in collaboration with stroke medical directors and campus clinical leadership, are responsible for the coordination of clinical excellence in stroke care across the continuum of AdventHealth Orlando. The manager facilitates the development and implementation of stroke-related educational initiatives for staff, patients, community and emergency medical services. The manager leads campus interdisciplinary teams in performance improvement and the incorporation of evidence-based practice protocols into the daily operations of the stroke program. The manager is responsible for analyzing outcomes to determine root causes of variation and developing corrective actions to improve stroke outcomes and performance.

• Coordinates the development and deployment of stroke educational plans, communicating updates on outcomes, process changes, and regulatory requirements.
• Develops and reviews evidence-based clinical pathways to standardize stroke care, ensuring timely implementation and updates.
• Evaluates stroke program metric performance, ensuring accurate reporting and sharing outcomes with committees and leadership.
• Rounds on stroke patients to provide education and support, participates in multidisciplinary rounds, and responds to stroke alert events.
• Serves as the stroke program clinical content expert, utilizing knowledge of clinical stroke evidence-based guidelines, national accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Acts as the stroke program lead during accreditation site visits, collaborating with campus leadership to maintain accreditation.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing or other healthcare related field
• Five years of acute care, critical care, neuroscience, or stroke related nursing experience
• Two years of progressive leadership experience
• Current, valid State of Florida license as Registered Nurse
• Current BLS Certification
