Responsibilities:Our Progressive Care Unit serves a variety of patient populations with medical and surgical conditions that include cardiac, vascular, pulmonary, GI, GU and neurological just to name a few. Here you will find: A fast-paced environment caring for high acuity medically complex patients Exposure to a variety of patient populations Opportunity to work closely with the unit dedicated provider group as well as multidisciplinary team Growth opportunities such as preceptor, super users, champion, validator & charge nurse (and possibly include that our charges are also involved with the code blue team) We utilize a variety of drips (diltiazem, nitroglycerine, nicardipine, amiodarone, precedex, insulin, etc.) and non-invasive respiratory support (high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, CPAP, VPAP etc.)

Qualifications:We require:
- Current WA State RN license required.
- 1 or more years recent Progressive Care experience preferred.
- EKG Monitor Validation.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Preferred: ACLS preferred.
- Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
