Shift: Full-time, choice between days or nights (rotating weekends)
Unit: 46-bed Med/Surg + Overflow Post-Surgical
Patient Mix: Medical admissions, some telemetry, oncology, and surgical overflow
Ratio: 1:6
Charge Experience: Required
On Call: None

Your Role

Lead day-to-day operations and clinical coordination on a busy Med Surg floor
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately
Administer medications and respond to changes in patient status
Support and mentor nursing staff as the Charge Nurse on shift
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal outcomes
Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education on conditions and treatments
Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and organizational policies

Job Requirements

Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license (must obtain FL license within 60 days if applicable)
Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Minimum 1 year of Charge RN experience in an acute care setting required
BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
Open to candidates from LTACH, home health, or rehab backgrounds
