Registered Nurse (Rn) Long Term Acute Care (Ltac) Positions Available

Amergis Staffing is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) assignments in Newport News, VA.

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ ability to extend)

Number of Openings: 5

Start Date: 10/20

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (312's) /Days or Nights/ Every other weekend

Setting: Critical illness recovery hospital

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN LTAC, PCU/Critical Care, and/or Stepdown experience
• Vent experience
• VA RN or Compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS (AHA)

The Long-Term Acute Care Registered Nurse provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care to medically complex patients in long-term acute settings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current RN license for the state in which the nurse practices in
• One (1) year nursing experience in a long-term acute care facility preferred
• Experience in acute rehabilitation for vents, wound care, cardiac, and stable post trauma patients
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
