Job specification
• Provide direct assistance to surgeons during surgical procedures, acting as the first assistant in the operating room.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the perioperative period, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative support, and post-operative monitoring.
• Demonstrate proficiency in surgical techniques, instrumentation, and aseptic practices.
• Collaborate with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians, to ensure seamless operations and optimal patient outcomes.
Candidate requirements

Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Current RN license in Idaho or eligibility to obtain.

Completion of an RNFA course.

Current BLS certification.

PALS certification required within 3 months of hire.

Minimum 3 years of perioperative RN experience.
