Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN-ER) to deliver prompt, high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The RN will assess, triage, and treat patients with acute illnesses or injuries, collaborating closely with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure timely and effective interventions.
Key Responsibilities

Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on severity and medical urgency.

Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as prescribed.

Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, updating care teams accordingly.

Assist physicians with diagnostic tests, procedures, and emergency resuscitations.

Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive emergency care.

Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Participate in code blue and trauma team responses as needed.

Required Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.

Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in emergency or critical care settings.

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) is a plus.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) such as Epic or Cerner.

Certifications (if any)

Basic Life Support (BLS) - required.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - required.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - preferred.

Education: Bachelors Degree
Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support , Pediatric Advanced Life Support
