Rheumatology Physician Assistant

NP/PA Rheumatology opportunity in Bowling Green, KY - 1 hour from Nashville TN - Service area of over 100,000 people The City of Bowling Green is nationally recognized by the US Chamber of Commerce for its economic development performance for seventh consecutive year Position Details:

• Per Diem; 2 days per week
• The Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with the Physician as well as nursing and support services to provide patient-focused care
• Responsible for providing direct patient care within the practice & directive of collaborating physician; assessment and management of patients; day to day implementation and evaluation of the appropriate plan of care; serving as a consultant, researcher, and educator.
• Works in collaboration with the Physician as well as nursing and support services to provide patient-focused care. Performs history & physicals, documentation of findings; communication with collaborating Provider
• Orders appropriate diagnostic testing; reviews results/ informs patients & Providers of findings and required follow up.
• Patient education and support.
• Ensures continuity of care for follow-up treatments.
• Other duties as necessary under direction of Provider/s and Administration.
