Primary Responsibilities:

1. Manage retail pharmacy operations for designated site in the absence of the Retail Pharmacy Manager
2. Achieve customer service, clinical initiative objectives, financial objectives, and regulatory compliance
3. Adhere to professional practices and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic and Kelsey Pharmacy policies and procedures, and manage all assigned personnel including students
4. Manage pharmacy personnel, provision of service, inventory, and overall profitability in the absence of the Retail Pharmacy Manager
5. Perform all duties of a registered pharmacist including accurate dispensing and counseling of prescriptions to customers

Required Qualifications:

• BS or Pharm D College of Pharmacy
• Current Texas Pharmacy License
• 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience
• Ability to communicate with Pharmacy Department personnel to delegate duties, inform about policies, train, assist with performance appraisals, and approve refunds/expense/returns
• Ability to communicate with customers to handle complaints and problems, assist with questions, and recommend products/recommendations
• Ability to accurately process prescriptions within the required amount of time
• Ability to operate computer terminal for processing prescriptions

Preferred Qualifications:

• BCLS
• Immunization Certification
• Pharmacy Preceptor Certification
• 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacist-in-charge
• HMO and 3rd party managed care experience
• Ability to write reports (i.e., weekly/monthly, accident/injury, expense, security), maintain logs, complete daily Pharmacy Department personnel work lists, prepare paperwork for bank deposits, complete requisitions, and complete new hire paperwork
• Ability to travel to multiple pharmacy locations

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $43.22 to $77.21 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
