Overview: In the role of Retail Assistant Supervisor, you will take charge of the store's operations and staff management in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring smooth daily functioning.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in maintaining high standards of store cleanliness and organization.
• Effectively implement sales promotions with timely and accurate signage.
• Process register transactions efficiently and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Ensure timely execution of visual merchandising plans and promotions.
• Help guide merchandise presentation in alignment with brand standards.
• Identify and communicate customer merchandise needs, ensuring satisfactory product availability.
• Assist in managing markdowns and merchandise transfers effectively.
• Drive sales and profitability, working towards exceeding individual and store goals.
• Support operational goals and assist in maximizing the contributions of your team.
• Assist in monitoring team performance across key metrics such as sales volume and loss prevention.
• Accurately train associates in register operations and functions.
• Secure company funds in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager or in a comparable role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus but not necessary.
• Able to respond to store alarm issues as they arise.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Results-driven with a strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 15-30 pounds.
