Restoration Warehouse Manager

We are looking for a Restoration Warehouse Manager who is mechanically inclined and can assist with maintaining our Equipment and Vehicle Fleet. Besides supervising staff, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for material and equipment-related distribution procedures.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Maintaining receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs.
• Safeguarding warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Controlling inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems.
• Maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing a cleaning schedule.
• Achieving financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.
• Completing warehouse operational requirements by scheduling time appropriately.
• Improving staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.

Education and experience requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State driver's license with a satisfactory DMV driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years as a warehouse manager.
• Experience operating a forklift.

Qualifications and skills include:

• Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate work.
• Proficient with computers and knowledge of general software and applications.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Understanding of safety rules.
• Mechanically inclined.

Physical and work environment requirements include:

• Walking and/or standing throughout the day.
• Exposed to high noise levels in the warehouse.
• Occasionally climbing ladders.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat or cold.

This is a full-time position, working 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., MondayFriday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), working on-call, and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local.

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour.
